The workshop welcomes submissions of more established ideas and methods as long papers (max 8 pages), preliminary work as short papers (max 4 pages).
We invite contributions that address themes related to the automatic music performance. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Models for music analysis
- Models for performance analysis
- Systems for expressive performance rendering
- Analysis of performer gestures
- Automatic recognition and classification of sound and music
- Computational musicology
- Interactive performance systems
- Music and robotics
- Perception and cognition of sound and music
- Embodied music cognition
- Human-robot interaction in playing music
- Robot-robot interaction in playing music
- Models for evaluating automatic music performances
- Models for automatic improvisation and composition
- Preservation and restoration of systems for automatic music performance
Papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF format by e-mail to roda[at]dei.unipd.it.
Papers must be prepared according the following guidelines:

- Latex template – please use llncs.dem as a paper example;
- Microsoft Word template.
Please follow the instruction included in the zip archives provided. Submission of multimedia attachments showing experimental results is encouraged.
At least one of the authors of each accepted workshop paper must register to the workshop in order to finalize the submission. The payment of a full workshop registration fee (145€) is required in order to complete the final submission procedure. The submission of a second workshop paper by the same authors is possible by adding a reduced (student) fee (95€). More info at http://www.ias-13.org/registration/
